Illustrating Feathered Pegasus Wings In Procreate - Episode 12

video - Episode 12

In this episode, I am talking all about illustrating a Pegasus in Procreate, and this one is a full process timelapse video where you can see how I am creating the wings and details for this horse in Procreate.

This illustration was created for a custom pattern design project for one of my clients, and you can see the project it was made for here if you want to check it out.

Not all of my patterns have this much detail, but my approach for this pattern design was to have it look like something you would read in a storybook.

I wanted to tell the story of what goes on around Olympus, which is why there is a lot of detail.

For the game I was creating this for, I wanted to immerse the players into this world as they were playing and transport them to this place.

This artwork was created during the height of the pandemic, and we were all stuck in our homes, so it was a big deal to me to give the game players a pattern and an experience.
